Who We Are
Bongwanake, meaning “Our Children” in SeTswana, reflects our deep commitment to children and their well-being. Our motto, “We See the Child First,” guides all our efforts, placing each child’s needs and potential at the center of our work. We are a 24-hour care facility for children living with disabilities, providing comprehensive support that includes care, education, nutrition, therapy, and family assistance.
Our foundation aims to be a world-class institution based in township and rural areas, demonstrating that quality services and programs can thrive in underserved communities.

Meet the Founder
Belinda Mogashwa founded Bongwanake Foundation with a clear vision: to see the child first—before disability, before limitations, and before circumstance. Belinda’s passion for education, inclusion, and holistic care drives the foundation’s daily work.
Through hands-on involvement, she ensures that every child, regardless of their abilities or background, receives the support, education, and care they need to flourish.
